John Rodriguez came on staff as our Worship Director in October of 2015.  John and his wife Amanda have been attending Harvest since 2006.  He first got involved in the worship ministry in 2007, when the band played at Memorial Hall. He has served faithfully in this ministry ever since. John was born in Rockford and grew up in Winnebago where he lives with his family. He met Amanda in 1994 when he was 13 and she was 14. At the time, Amanda was already “taken” by his best friend, but we know how the story ends. Before his career switch in 2015, John worked in manufacturing for 18 years. He would consider himself a Mexican food connoisseur, and only drinks soda from a bottle. John once had dreams of being a professional baseball player.  John and Amanda have two girls, Lyla and Ellie.
