Next Steps

Maybe you're planning your first visit to Harvest. Or perhaps you've been attending Harvest and are wondering what's next. Our aim is to help you get "plugged-in" as quickly as possible. In short, we want to help you Worship Christ, Walk with Christ and Work for Christ.

Step #1 | Connection Corner

Come meet us at the Connection Corner. We want to get to know you. Step 1 happens every Sunday after both services. Pastor John and Betsey, along with some of our other leadership will be there to meet you.

Step #2 | Connections Class

Learn the DNA of Harvest and what makes us tick as a church. This 90-minute class is an overview of how we worship, walk and work for Christ at Harvest Rockford. Step 2 takes place the first Sunday of each month during our 9am service:

Step #3 | Commit to Harvest

Growing in Christ is a community project. Step 3 is a declaration that you are on mission with us as you become a missional partner (member) at Harvest Rockford. It’s committing to worshipping, walking and working for Christ together. Before filling out a Membership Application, we ask that you have:

Completed Step #2 - taken Connections Class
That you are attending a Life Group
That you are serving at Harvest

Other Ways to Connect

Worship Christ Together

At Harvest, we lift high the name of Jesus in worship. We would love to have you join us for one of our worship services.

Walk with Christ Together

Everyone who calls Harvest their church home is strongly encouraged to get involved in a life group. We believe that growing in Christ is a community project. Life groups are our primary method of encouraging community, accountability and studying the Word together. Here are some other resources to help encourage you in your walk with Christ:

Listen to some of our past sermons.
Start a Bible reading plan, and pick a recommended book.
Take advantage of our prayer resources.
Pray together with other men or with other women.

Work for Christ Together

We have plenty of places for you to get involved and serve at Harvest. We want all of you to be working along with us and serving Christ together. We want you to use your gifts! Check out our list of serving opportunities and see what might be a good fit for you.
